In the Old Testament, God spoke to Adam, Noah, Moses and many others. He did this in many ways—such as parables, prophecy, dreams, visions and angelic visitations. Yet these revelations were never complete.
But we no longer need to seek visions or go to prophets to know God. Why? Because as the book of Hebrews tells us, that was how God spoke long ago to our ancestors.
